Handmade in Nepal

Cloth made by hand.
Cut to your measure.

A small Nepali label making clothes from the highest quality fabric, with the finishing to match. Every piece comes in standard sizes — and in yours, if you would rather.

Best quality fabric

Sourced locally or imported. Every fabric has to meet the Uxal standard before it is cut.

Designed in-house

Every pattern is drawn, sampled and corrected by our own team. Nothing is bought in.

Cut to your measure

Pick a standard size, or send us your measurements and we will cut the piece for you.

Why we exist

Good fabric has never been hard to find in Nepal. What has been hard to find is clothing made from it for the person actually wearing it — which is the gap we set out to close.

How a piece is made

One roll chosen, four versions of the pattern

Nothing here is fast. That is not a marketing position — it is simply what handwork costs.
01

It starts with the fabric

We source the best quality fabric we can find, locally or imported. Every one has to meet the Uxal standard before it is cut or designed around.

02

Then the pattern table

Our own team drafts every pattern, sews the first sample, then wears it for a week to find what is wrong. Most designs reach a third or fourth version before we sell them.

03

Finally, your measurements

A standard size fits most people well enough. Your own measurements fit only you. We offer both, and the second one is the reason we started.

Custom sizing

Standard sizes are a compromise.
Yours are not.

Tell us your height, chest, waist and the rest, and we will cut the piece to those numbers instead. It adds a little to the price and a week or so to the wait. Most people decide it is worth both.
